Great space, decent food, but $2.50 for tomato sauce?

You would think with a $2xx dinner, some extra chilli would be complimentary! I’m not being a dick, the food is actually really tasty(that’s why I came back!) but some small things piss me off that mean a lot to me! Extra chilli and the cheap red wine glasses (but other red wine glass orders is very sexy!) #TheLittleThingsMatter. #ElementBar #Coffsharbour

A fantastic bar with a warm, welcoming vibe! The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile or great recommendation. The environment strikes the perfect balance, lively enough for energy, but cozy enough to chat. Great drinks, relaxed music, and a crowd that adds to the fun. My new go-to spot!

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with a relaxed coastal vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything flowed smoothly. The food was delicious — fresh, flavourful, and cooked beautifully. Each dish had a nice balance of seasoning and texture, and the portions were generous without feeling heavy. It’s the kind of place where you can taste the care in the cooking. Paired with the great music it made for a really enjoyable meal. A fantastic spot for a casual lunch out, family dinner, or drinks with good food. We’d happily go back.

We were here on the Easter long weekend. We specifically wanted to come here as we'd been before and upon checking the website we saw that they were open for the Easter Monday and it appeared that they were still offering their Monday deals. I think it was burger night and discounted drinks. Unfortunately when we arrived we were advised by staff that the Monday deals weren't being honoured, despite no change on their website or signage to the contrary. We contemplated going elsewhere, but as we'd specifically decided in here, we'd also toned our arrival accordingly, so many of the other restaurants were nearing kitchen close. We did end up staying and we enjoyed our food but it was an expensive night and it left an overall nasty taste, pardon the pun! It's no surprise they weren't half as busy as the last time we visited, which is a shame as it's a good venue. A number of people walked in and walked out, and they certainly didn't attract a crowd that hung around and enjoyed the atmosphere , because really, there wasn't much of one this time. Will we return, maybe, maybe not. I'd certainly be cautious about doing so without checking with them directly next time. The fact that someone went to the effort of posting their Easter Monday opening, but didn't bother advising the standard menu was the only option, was a huge oversight.

We had dinner at Element Bar & Grill on Sunday night and it was absolutely fantastic! There were three of us and we shared the Ploughman’s Plate along with the Hickory Smoked BBQ Beef Short Ribs & Crispy Fried Chicken Wings—and wow, everything was incredible. The presentation alone was stunning (see photo!), and the flavours absolutely delivered. The portions were very generous too—easily enough for the three of us, and honestly could have fed a fourth. The drinks were just as impressive. I had a frozen strawberry daiquiri mocktail which was delicious and super refreshing. There’s also a great selection of beers on tap, and the apple cider on tap was a standout. We were there on a Sunday evening and were treated to live music by a solo guitarist/singer, which created such a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere without being overwhelming. All up, a really memorable dining experience—great food, great drinks, and a beautiful vibe. Highly recommend if you’re in Coffs Harbour!

We stumbled across Element Bar during our one-night stay in Coffs Harbour on a road trip through NSW, and what a find it was. We were absolutely blown away by the food—the best calamari we’ve had in years, and just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we tried the popcorn chicken… amazing. The service was just as impressive—friendly and attentive throughout. A big congratulations to the team for making our visit such a memorable one. If we’re ever back in the region, we’ll definitely be stopping by again.
