Novotel Geelong

Absolutely disgusted with our stay paid $600+ received email 3 days before too late to cancel. Then charged $30 per day to park a motor cycle. When was on the understanding there was free parking. Also our room was not made up. Would never stay here again. Staff at reception desk very ordinary.

Hotel is old & wornout needs a facelift badly

Staff were incredible, particularly with my 2 kids who were very chatty. Staff engaged with them, but also couldn’t be more helpful when I asked questions. Great location - walkable to all the central sights and activities. We didn’t have a car for the 3 days we stayed and didn’t need one.

Great stay. Comfy bed. Good hot water pressure. Outstanding view. Valet parking great - car was waiting for me each time I had it booked to take out. Barman was happy to make a custom cocktail for our group.

Just wish they would spend money on outdoor heating cannot believe they don’t

We continued our celebration of my son's 10th birthday with our inaugural stay at Novotel Geelong. We were spoilt by Shev and the team with an upgrade of the most stunning bay views. The heated indoor pool was also a huge hit for our extra wintry weekend. At breakfast, Vimal and the Tempo crew were super helpful in navigating our allergens. We could safely have the hot chocolate (anaphylaxis to wheat, barley, rye, raw eggs, peanuts and tree nuts). Thank you NG for such a wonderful stay, hope to see you all again real soon!

What a shambles this place is. Upon arriving we had to dodge chunder all over place in the car space out the front. After negotiating the human sick all over the pavement we went to reception . Nobody in sight . We were after breakfast so we went straight to the restaurant and were rudely told to go home as they were too busy with no staff. It wasn't even busy . Just could not believe it ... So we went to the Rydges Hotel and were instantly treated with excellent service .... Thanks Rydges , go home Novotel .

Amazing night stay. I am a accor gold member and got an awesome upgrade. First time to geelong and what a great city. I travel a but for work and stay at accor all around Australia this is by far one of the best novotels ive been too. Had a beer in the lounge with my free drink and also got a breakfast roll in the morning which hit the spot. Would highly reccomend a stay here.

We booked 2 connected family rooms for the Kingd birthday long weekend as we are travelling with our young kids. When we arrived check in was fine and we were told we had connecting rooms, however when we went up to our rooms they were not connected. Called front desk and was told if we are not happy we can get a refund and find another hotel. This is not an option as we checked in at 3pm on a long weekend. Not much chance of finding two family connecting rooms in Geelong with no notice. Really disappointed with Novotel. They have usually been a good hotel chain.

Great easy checkin process . Quick efficient and seamless . The staff are exceptionally friendly. Beautiful clean rooms . Great facilities every with the renovation you are not out out what so ever. Beautiful well work the money for our in room dining . Cheese board could feed 4-6 !!! Beautiful complimentary sweets and wine for my birthday !! Very surprised !! Room is clean bed is comfy. Everything is wonderful . Close walking distance to everything .
