Nightcap at The Ranch Hotel

Value for money! Spacious room, comfortable bed (although I didn't love the pillows) and very clean. We were surprised when told there was a complimentary continental breakfast available next morning, added bonus! Very friendly staff. Will definitely be staying with Nightcap again.

Stayed here for an event in Sydney and it was almost perfect, good value, rooms spacious and very well presented, and a buffet breakfast (on weekends) included was a fabulous bonus. Will definitely look to stay here again on next visit to Sydney.

I recently stayed at the Nightcap for a conference. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were the highlight - every person we met was friendly and helpful. I particularly loved the fact that the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was vegan and cruelty free, and smelled delicious.

It's great. Parking is convenient and the price is affordable.

Boy I wish I read that last review before booking! First of all, the hotel is clean, staff friendly, food is fine.... but damn! The noise at night! It's 8:00pm and some woman is screaming her head off into her phone outside my bedroom window. Last night at 1:30 it was partiers leaving the pub. Cars doing burnouts with stereos blasting, this place doesn't even feel safe at night, let alone restful. Also, a king bed is not two singles pushed together, got trapped in that valley between beds. I'd rather have a real queen or even a double than a fake king bed. No love for this place tonight.

To be fair this was a corporate trip and it's not exactly a corporate hotel. Arrived 9pm Sunday night, reception unmanned and doors locked. Had to trapse over to the pub to rouse someone to go back and let me in. No food available, and no breakfast on weekdays other than a mini cereal kit in your room. Raucous party 2 doors down with people yelling and laughing madly til nearly 1am. Not sure who this place is catering to but it ain't me! Room was clean and comfy at least, but the king bed is just two singles pushed together.
