Hotel in an excellent CBD location, very nice rooms and very good service, the decor was very Art Deco, we loved our stay

Been here a few times and the service is not great. Do they hate their jobs? Customer service was very disappointing. The bar looks very cute but receptionist and door people make me question staying here. Which is a bummer as it looks cute (the ground floor).

Andrew was assisting me on the phone and I must say he is such a great asset to this hotel! Even though the hotel was having electrical issues, he assisted me so thoroughly and with genuine care, and found me and my friend accomodation during one of the busiest times of the year. Such good representation for the hotel, and can not wait to stay there eventually!

Update: Stayed another time here for business. The service was always a differentiator for this hotel, however, this time, I was disappointed when I asked if a late checkout is available. The staff at the reception seemed clearly annoyed and said very unkindly "I can only give you up to 12PM." I didn't beg for a late check-out. It was very unpleasant. I could not be bothered to complain about her poor service, but I will consider other hotels first. Also, the room wasn't too great that the only view was a meeting room in the next building and I could hear water pipe sounds very often regardless of time. Stayed three times over a few years with the most recent stay this week. The staffs are always very pleasant and unique (in good ways), and it feels nice they greet or even ask how's my stay when I bump into them in the corridor. The room is full of character and spacious. One of the big reasons why I choose QT is for their deep bath. Will come back here when I visit Sydney again.
