Rambutan Hotel & Resort - Siem Reap

I am kinda obsessed with this place. It's is such a nice, relaxing, welcoming and beautiful oasis in what can be a hectic, hot and slightly stressful place. The staff is incredible- so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are large, comfortable and I love the outdoor shower and tub. The included breakfast is delicious, easy and convenient. It's not necessarily a "gay hotel" but many of the quests are (as well as the staff and owner) and it felt very welcoming safe and accepting. I give it a "10/10 would recommend"!

Rambutan Hotel is about 20 metres down the lane from the resort. Both are cosy spaces, with pools, sun loungers and dining spaces. Our room was over 2 floors, with the bedroom and shower room on the cooler downstairs level, and a living room and balcony upstairs. The breakfast option is well worth taking and being available from 6(ish) to 12 is fantastic. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A fantastic hotel and a true oasis in Siem Reap. The food was also excellent, and the pool was really refreshing.

The hotel is near a club that plays music until midnight and last evening the club didn't stop playing loud music until almost 1:00a.m. Their was a wedding this morning and they were making noise around 7:00a.m. throughout the day. This is crazy since the hotel is located in a small alley that it is surrounded by loud noise that disturbs it's residents. Inwould not stay at this hotel again due to the noise during the nights...very inconvenient and annoying. The real strength of this hotel is they serve breakfast until noon but their menu is limited. They have a salt water pool but no one seems to get in it. Lots of mosquitoes in and around the property.

Lovely little boutique hotel in a great area of Siem reap. Very large , comfortable and clean rooms. Also great attention and help from the staff . Would return!

I love everything about this resort. The team are simply adorable - welcoming, fun and kind. The resort is cosy and tasteful and the swimming pool and mature greenery is perfect and so relaxing. They have a resident cat called Rambu, and that’s a cute touch. I’ve been twice now and will go back again soon. Thank you again guys for being so brilliant (and cheeky) x

Beautiful building, a Khmer village surrounding a courtyard with a saltwater pool. Extensive breakfast menu (included). Cozy bar next to the pool where you can have lunch and dinner. Centrally located. Wonderful hosts and lovely staff willing to go the extra mile for a wonderful stay. An oasis.

I didn’t stay here as a guest, but I visited to have some food and relax in the sun. The customer service here is absolutely amazing. One of the staff members even told me about the history of Cambodia when they saw me reading a book about the country, which made the experience even more special. The staff are always smiling and are incredibly polite, friendly, and fun to talk to. It created such a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend stopping by even if you’re not staying here.

To the staff and management at Rambutan Hotel and Resort, please accept my apologies for taking so long to leave this review. ​For many years, Rambutan has been my sanctuary in Siem Rea, not just for my own staycations, but for almost all of my friends and family as well. Both properties are simply beautiful: lush, tranquil, and perfectly tucked away in a quiet alley, yet just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and full of character, offering a blend of old world charm and modern style that I really enjoy. ​What truly makes this place special, however, is the incredible team. Over the years, they have remembered me, my family, my friends and all those small, thoughtful details that are never expected but always deeply appreciated. Their service and kindness are truly second to none. ​Long live Rambutan!

A truly lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent service, an à la carte breakfast, and a refreshing pool. The location is quiet yet central – perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and gladly give it 5 stars!

What a lovely hotel! I live in Siem Reap but am enjoying spending a night at resorts around town from time to time. Set in a lane 2 minutes from Wat Damnak pagoda and the city center, it is an oasis of calm and relaxation, with lush internal courtyards and a waterfall that feeds into the pool. I stayed in a 2-story villa, with a spacious room which featured an outdoor bath on the 2nd floor veranda with views on the courtyard and the pool. I asked for a pedicure in my room and… it was a young charming man who came. The pedicure was done on the terrace and it was the best I ever had! Good food, cocktails, served by a super friendly and helpful staff. Much recommended!
