Le Méridien Surat

Le Méridien Surat opened on 7 May 2026 in the building that was The Grand Bhagwati (TGB) at Magdalla Circle on Dumas Road. Opening press gives 185 keys (Marriott copy elsewhere says 170), plus a pool, a gym, a spa and very large pillarless ballrooms. The kitchen is pure vegetarian, which is common in Gujarat but worth knowing. At about 3 km from the airport it's the most convenient upmarket bed for flights, though the old city and the station are on the far side of town. Mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
