Absolutely a must-visit if you're trans and/or speak some Japanese! Masaki-san and Ryo-san made us feel super welcome and it was one of the most fun experiences I had my whole trip.

This is a great bar. The bartender doesn't speak English, but he's very friendly. I learned a lot of my conversational Japanese from him. I've been to this location and the other one. I highly recommend it if you want a great experience! The bartender only speaks Japanese, but he's very kind!
FtM 성지라고도 할 수 있는 곳. Had the best night out of my life. The bar owner and bar tender Masaki san and Riku san are hilarious and excellent conversationists. They bravely plow through the little bit of language barrier with charades and the shared experience between trans people. Drinks are 1000¥ each and there’s a seat fee of 1000¥. Cheap compared to where I’m from and more than worth the stay. It’s a tiny hole in the wall, smaller than most peoples’ kitchens. It somehow makes it better. If you don’t have other trans friends to go with, I highly encourage taking a chance to go with someone off the internet. It was a great way to meet new awesome trans friends for me.
It's close to Shinjuku Station and the subway, so it's very easy to get to. The staff are friendly, so it's no problem to order mocktails or soft drinks. I had a great time here, regardless of my LGBT status.
