The staff, particularly the therapists, need urgent retraining. The therapist was totally inattentive. The room was freezing, and despite my request to raise the temperature, the therapist completely ignored me. I had to suffer through the cold for the entire session. There was zero communication; the therapist never checked on my comfort or asked if I wanted more pressure. The massage itself was below average—too soft and lacked any strength. It is definitely not worth the high price point. To make matters worse, there was no hospitality. No drinks were offered after the session, and there were no basic greetings or "Thank You" from the staff when I arrived or left.
5 STARS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE THERAPIST. One great feature of your establishment is the location. Central, easily accessible by car, plenty of parking and superb hospitality. You also take some effort in ensuring customer privacy, its great that I have never bumped into another customer while there. I have been a customer since 2023 and have mostly returned satisfied and relaxed. You do need to have a fresh coat of paint though, more plants outside and inside, a cosier reception area. The bathrooms need to be refurbished, especially the one on the top floor, is in need of urgent repairs. The ceiling had collapsed and the water heater/pump is exposed with visible rust. This is dangerous and requires urgent attention. Regarding therapists; I have tried many therapists from your spa and the best is W***d. He is the most experienced and loveliest of them all. His age aside, he is truly an asset to your spa and frankly the only reason why I kept coming back. Age and experience does pay and frankly he is the one holding your spa up. He is attentive to his customers needs and requests especially in pressure and points of pains/aches. He is extremely professional, well groomed, and most importantly not prejudicial. He knows how to massage and handle non Malay-Muslim bodies and private parts with extreme care and zero judgement. Previously, all your other therapists do not know how to handle uncircumcised penises despite convincing customers prior to sessions that they know. This is misleading and unfair especially if it is someone's first time trying out urutan batin. I personally experienced and have also been told by friends, that some of your therapists use gloves when massaging non Malay/Muslim bodies, what more using gloves during the urutan batin. It isn't only dangerous and could possibly lead to foreskin injury, but also discriminatory. I rather you display upfront which therapists use gloves and which don't. Some customers may prefer gloved massages and therapists who prefer that would be comfortable working. So best to adopt that policy if your therapists insist on gloved massages. Otherwise this should be an authentic non-gloved massage service. W***d on the other hand is fantastic with his urutan nadi, aromatherapy and manhood massage (urutan batin). He knows and has learnt based on experience, of our sensitiveness and boundaries. One more disappointment, when I handed in my Laksamana Spa card for stamping, since it was my last stamp and my 10th session, they took the card back. I was also told that this stamping system has ceased. Please, I request that this be brought back, or some form of loyalty/membership card be reintroduced as this will encourage more visits and we'd satisfied with small rewards.
