Great place place to stay in centre of Colombo! A clean and new hostel that felt very luxury. The cafe/restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great too with amazing food and drinks!
Hi! I want to share my experience with Drop Inn. Since arriving in Sri Lanka, I've stayed with them every time I've been to Colombo. I've been in Sri Lanka for two months now, and every time I've come to Colombo, I've chosen Drop Inn. The staff is wonderful—kind, friendly, and respectful. They always have a smile and are willing to help you with anything you need. The managers, like the staff, are always attentive to every detail and ready to solve any problem. Beenu is an amazing host. From the first day, her energy made me realize that Sri Lanka was a place I had to visit. I stayed in shared rooms, and everything was spotless. Clean, cool rooms, comfortable and practical beds, with universal outlets to plug in whatever you need. It's a traveler's atmosphere; some people stay longer, and others stay for a day to start their journey, but you always connect with the people there and with the place. Sometimes there's live music, movie nights, quiz games, and the afternoons are very pleasant. The location is great, just 15 minutes from Havelock City Mall, and a full market is only 200 meters away. Good food, good coffee, good people. If you have to be in Colombo, Drop Inn is the best option in my opinion. God bless everyone at Drop Inn, thank you!
I loved staying here! I found it very convenient that they had a women-only dormitory. It was very comfortable and private enough. The bathroom is only accessible from the dormitory, which I thought was ideal. The common area is lovely! They have lots of plants and even a pond. All the staff were incredibly kind to me. The kitchen service is efficient and the food is delicious. I was always in contact with Beenu, who turned out to be a wonderful person, always willing to make your stay very enjoyable. They have lots of recommendations about Colombo and even a weekly program of activities. Thank you so much for hosting me; I had a very special time.
This is a really lovely hostel, the staff are so kind and helpful and the atmosphere is chill but sociable. They really helped me out with my luggage too !!
