Silom Soi 4 — شارع المثليين في بانكوك

Silom Soi 4 is a short lane off Silom Road in Bang Rak. Since the late 1980s and 1990s it has been the center of Bangkok's gay nightlife. Long-running bars such as Telephone Pub and Balcony line both sides, with street-facing tables that fill from early evening. The crowd is mostly Thai, with many regional and Western visitors. It is a drinks-and-people-watching street rather than a club zone. For dancing, the clubs on neighbouring Silom Soi 2 open later and check ID at the door. Sala Daeng BTS and Silom MRT are both close. Prices are modest by Bangkok standards. Expect touts on Silom Road itself, and ignore offers for 'shows' in Patpong.
