The room was old and run-down, the toilet reeked of sewage the moment I flushed, and the floor was slimy and disgusting. The male receptionist was very rude; he glared at me intensely while I checked in and spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if I were begging for something from his house. A terrible experience, I will never return.
0/5 ❌This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I honestly wouldn’t even want to give this hotel one star. We stayed here for 2 nights. The first night was fine. However, after we went out sightseeing the next day and returned to our room in the evening, the entire room was filled with a very strong cigarette smell. This was extremely disappointing because our room had a clear “No Smoking” sign, and we specifically chose a non-smoking room since our parents were staying in this room. The smell was so strong that all of our clothes, luggage, and personal belongings absorbed the cigarette odor. It was impossible to stay in the room comfortably. The hotel’s first solution was simply to open the windows. We then had to wait quite a long time while they tried different ways to deal with the problem. After waiting, the smell was still unacceptable. We requested a room change and even had to move all of our parents’ belongings into our other room while waiting. This was extremely inconvenient and completely disrupted our evening. What concerns me the most is that I still cannot understand how this could happen. The hotel explained that housekeeping might have left the door open while cleaning and someone happened to be smoking nearby. Honestly, I find that explanation very difficult to believe. The smell was incredibly strong, as if someone had been smoking inside the room for a long period of time. If no one smoked inside the room, then what actually happened? Did someone enter our room while we were away? If that is the case, it raises serious concerns about the hotel’s security. Regardless of the cause, this should never happen in a non-smoking room, especially after housekeeping entered while guests were away. This experience completely ruined our stay. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families with children or elderly parents who expect a clean, smoke-free environment. Very disappointing.
Check-in was delayed, the reception staff were unprofessional, and they kept postponing the check-in time. Even on a non-peak weekend, check-in was still late. Not highly recommended.
The hotel only allows check-in at 2:30 PM, and the staff did not notify us in advance or resolve the issue.
