Excellent hotel. Rooms comfortable, breakfast varied and plentiful. Good access to u bahn and walks round the ring or direct to the centre. Second visit and would visit again

I've finally found MY Vienna hotel!! The Hotel Beethoven. Where do I even begin!? With the warm welcome, the comfortable beds with their lovely linens, or the sensationally good breakfast? And the location! You can really reach everything on foot, but the subway is also nearby (Karlsplatz station, Secession exit), and a taxi from the city center costs €12. Dear Beethoven team, and Dean in particular, I'll definitely be back! ❤️

A wonderful hotel in an unbeatable location—welcoming, quiet, stylish, and with a truly special atmosphere. For us, the Hotel Beethoven isn't just any hotel. It feels like coming home to the most beautiful city in Europe: Vienna. It's precisely this blend of personal warmth, Viennese culture, and familial hospitality that makes this hotel so special. The location is superb: just a two-minute walk from the Naschmarkt, the subway is just a few minutes away, and many of Vienna's most important sights are within easy walking distance. Despite this central location, our rooms were pleasantly quiet. Breakfast was excellent. We would particularly like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive service at breakfast. Room service was also very courteous and welcoming. The hotel is family-run, and you can definitely feel it. In the afternoon, you can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea, accompanied by small cakes—a lovely, generous gesture that perfectly complements the hotel's atmosphere. A true highlight for us was the Sunday concert with outstanding Ukrainian musicians. We were particularly moved by Roman Babic, the young cellist who performed alongside his father, a master cellist himself. This concert added a special cultural dimension to our stay. We spent wonderful hours at the Hotel Beethoven, felt completely at ease, and would love to return. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to not just visit Vienna, but truly experience it.

A very stylish well run hotel. Beautiful bedroom, very quiet, everything needed was provided in the room. Nice lounge with coffee and cake in the afternoon. Atmospheric bar with good cocktails. A special mention to Sándor on reception for all his help and advice..

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Beethoven for 4 nights. As soon we stepped in the main entrance we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff that wanted to make our stay in the hotel and the city the best it could possibly be. They gave us many excellent recommendations which really made our holiday special. There was even a free classical concert and prosecco on the Sunday! I'd recommend his hotel for couples and families alike.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the location is excellent and the property itself is nice, it does not live up to a four-star rating. Some rooms are extremely small—smaller than college dorms—and not very comfortable. The bedding was an issue: thick polyester blankets made it hard to sleep the first night, and although they brought a wool blanket the next day, the discomfort was already done. The hotel responded that their duvets are cotton, but the BLANKET WASN'T. A four star hotel with polyester BLANKETS - that was a first, in my experience. Slippers were not provided unless specifically requested. Very basic and limited toiletries. The staff seem inexperienced and untrained. An issue I encountered was never resolved. I was sent from person to person, all promising to escalate to the owner/director (who was off for the weekend), yet no one ever followed up. At checkout, the front desk asked if I had spoken to others about the problem, but instead of addressing it, the team simply passed me around. Despite pretending to care, nothing was actually done. After a few of such comments it started to feel like they expect me to go around and beg them, continuously. So I stopped addressing the issue. Our room was booked and paid for two people, but when one guest could not travel due to an emergency, the hotel offered no partial refund or adjustment, only two complimentary drinks for booking directly through their website. This “solution” was impersonal and not useful for my needs. The hotel seems to focus on doing things “their way,” offering standard perks without regard for guest needs. For the price of two nights, the experience was disappointing and far below the standard expected of a four-star property. The hotel management responded that they gave me a room upgrade. That's sweet, but they keep using this as a shield for the lack of professional service otherwise. I DID NOT ASK for a room upgrade. It was unnecessary. Also, two free drinks mentioned - it was a courtesy they offer to clients who book directly on the website, which was also true in my case. That was explained by the front desk. It was nothing extraordinary offered to me personally. It is strange to read how the message from the management had twisted the meaning of everything I wrote. And the "double upgrade" was a small room without slippers and with a polyester blanket... Only consider this hotel if location is your top priority; do not expect four-star comfort, service, or flexibility.

This hotel is a real insider tip for visitors to Vienna. The location is ideal, easily accessible, yet completely quiet. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was absolutely fantastic. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, and they were always ready to help us throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and the bar was a great place to spend a pleasant evening. We would definitely book this hotel again for a Vienna vacation and will highly recommend it.
