I had the mushroom schnitzel and it was absolutely delicious. It was quite expensive, but the service was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and the drinks were tasty.

A very good restaurant to discover Austrian specialties reimagined in a vegetarian version.

To the owner of W and the staff member, I am writing this message of gratitude here now that I have returned home. I am not a customer who has used the service. It seems like a place where the food is already delicious. I think your visit will be even more pleasant if you know about this place where the staff are kind at heart. I am a middle-aged Korean man. Around 3:40 PM on July 26, 2026, my wife fell near the W store and suffered a laceration under her chin. She was bleeding continuously, and I was frantically trying to call my son who was nearby, using just one or two tissues to stop the bleeding. At that moment, someone approached us and provided perfect on-site emergency treatment, including disinfection, guiding us inside, and applying hemostatic tape. It was the owner of W and another male staff member. I was deeply moved and truly grateful. Afterward, my wife was transported to the hospital for treatment and returned home safely two days later. I have nowhere else to express my gratitude, so I am posting this in the review section here. I will never forget your kindness. I wish the staff of W good health and only good things. I will be sure to say hello again when I visit. I highly recommend the friendly Vienna 🇦🇹.

My daughter is a vegetarian but I am a meat eater. She chose this restaurant when we had a short stay in Vienna for my birthday. We chose the sharing menu, which was a bit like a tasting menu. We also had some delicious cocktails. We both really enjoyed the food and the service. Our servers were the delightful Vivienne and Tab. Vivienne was personable and friendly. She explained the ingredients well and promoted the menu professionally, showing good knowledge of philosophy behind the menu choice ( local, seasonal ingredients etc). I highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarians and meat eaters who want to eat fresh, delicious food!

We went there spontaneously one evening. The welcome and service were phenomenal. The food was equally delicious. Always a good choice for the price.

I booked a fish cooking class with my children. It was fantastic! We cooked and enjoyed fish we had caught ourselves. I highly recommend the class.

This review is actually difficult for me, as I had high expectations for this restaurant based on word of mouth and online research. Unfortunately, these expectations were significantly missed. To begin with, the welcome and the service staff were very friendly and attentive, but it's rather odd when three or four different waitresses are working at the same table (no separate stations). I feel that this lacks the personal touch that I would expect at this price point. From a culinary perspective, I must say that while I wasn't disappointed, it wasn't creative, the seasoning wasn't good, and the elements simply didn't complement each other well. The bread and butter to start were very nice. Then came a beetroot tartare that unfortunately tasted of absolutely nothing, and the accompanying green cream was rather undefined, although the brioche was very good. The fennel course was good, but didn't leave a lasting impression. The carrot and sweet potato hash browns, I believe, were extremely soggy and oily, as were the Pimentos de Padrón (yes, I know how they're prepared, but they could still be drained). The beetroot hash tasted very good, but it was also oily, just like the vegetable pakora, which was absolutely dripping with oil. And that was indeed the extent of the Chef's Choice menu. I found the selection of dishes, as well as the ingredients used, to be quite poor. Two beetroot dishes, four simply oily, two breads... Dessert was only available at an extra cost. For the three of us, the bill came to around €200 including tip, and for that money I can eat significantly better in Vienna, with dishes that have real ideas and execution. I didn't think much about the ambiance, but I found it rather bland. Unfortunately, the value for money was unacceptable to me.

The food was incredible, everything was so delicious and original! And the service was amazing. Has gluten-free options. Really loved this place!
