Before this trip, I had no idea that Moxy was part of the Marriott family, and I was genuinely surprised. I’m 45 years old, travel frequently, and stay in hotels around the world almost every month. It takes a lot to impress me these days, but Moxy Brussels City Center absolutely did. What impressed me most wasn’t one specific thing—it was the entire experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt easy, natural, and effortless. The check-in process was incredibly fast, the staff were genuinely friendly, approachable, and professional, and throughout my stay I felt more like a welcomed guest than a hotel customer. The atmosphere is what makes this place special. The lobby bar doesn’t feel like a hotel lobby at all. It feels more like a stylish restaurant, a trendy café, and a social space combined into one. High ceilings, beautiful modern design, comfortable seating, and a huge projection screen showing FIFA World Cup matches created an amazing atmosphere during my stay. As a welcome gift, I received a complimentary drink voucher at check-in. Given the extreme heat Brussels was experiencing at the time, I chose a fresh lemonade, which turned out to be the perfect start to my stay. The selection of food and drinks was surprisingly good, and the prices were very reasonable. My room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and extremely comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent, and after long days walking around Brussels and attending World of Coffee, getting quality sleep was something I really appreciated. One detail deserves special recognition: the air conditioning. Brussels was experiencing unusually hot weather during my visit, yet the temperature throughout the hotel was perfect. Cool enough to feel comfortable, but never so cold that you feel uncomfortable or get sick. It sounds like a small thing, but many hotels struggle with this balance. Moxy got it exactly right. The bathroom had everything I needed, and the hotel itself feels fresh, modern, and very well maintained. The location is another major advantage. The hotel sits in the vibrant Ixelles district, one of the most enjoyable neighborhoods in Brussels. Within walking distance you’ll find bakeries, specialty coffee shops, Asian restaurants, several Carrefour supermarkets, Uniqlo, and plenty of places to explore on foot. Honestly, this has been one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be adding complimentary bottled water or a small minibar in the rooms, especially during hot summer days. That said, this is a very minor point because the hotel already provides free chilled lemon water downstairs in the lobby, and it was available throughout my stay. Overall, this is exactly what modern hospitality should feel like: welcoming, stylish, relaxed, efficient, and genuinely guest-focused. A huge thank you to the entire team. I hope other guests enjoy the same experience I did.

Great stay! Quiet rooms, blackout curtains, comfortable beds. Only complaint is our shower drain backed up and flooded the bathroom.
