THE STAY Boutique Hotel Central Square is the former Hotel Bulgaria (later Best Western and Star Hotel Bulgaria) at Patriarh Evtimiy 13, just off the main street near Central Square. Old guides still list it under those earlier names. It's a mainstream four-star hotel that we list as gay-friendly, not a gay hotel. It's about as central as Plovdiv gets: Glavnata is round the corner, and Kapana and the Roman stadium are a five-minute walk.
