Due to health issues with my husband, we needed to change our room during our stay. Maria went above and beyond to make sure all our expectations were met and did everything she could to help us. Thanks to her kindness and professionalism, we were able to stay at the hotel — otherwise, we would have had to check out. We are truly grateful for all her help and outstanding customer service.

Hello, I stayed three nights at this lovely hotel and I'm thrilled. It was always clean, all the staff were very friendly and always tried their best to find a solution, whether it was something for dinner or directions. The spa area is simply gorgeous, and after my conference days, it was the perfect way to relax and unwind. And the decor really deserves a mention—it's so cozy and inviting. Fantastic hotel in a perfect location – ideal for exploring Bremen! Our room was beautifully and comfortably furnished, and we felt right at home. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the spa area with its pool and sauna – just what we needed to relax after a day of sightseeing. One small suggestion for improvement: the rooftop terrace could be made a bit more inviting; then the whole experience would be perfect. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great so far. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom could have used a few more towel racks. The drain in the bathroom sink wasn't working, but it was quickly fixed. We had a room facing the Weser River, and what was very bothersome were the loud car enthusiasts. The city of Bremen should be made aware of this.

Ideally located directly on the Weser river, 2 minutes to the Schlachte promenade and 10 minutes on foot to the Bremen Town Musicians.

The room was very well equipped, just a bit small. The pool and spa area is beautiful, and the hotel has a good location and offers good value for money. The only negative was that the pool was closed due to a chlorine issue, and this was only communicated upon arrival.

Our stay at the Nena Hotel Bremen was simply wonderful! The entire team was very attentive and extremely friendly – ​​we felt warmly welcomed and exceptionally well looked after. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, and comfortably furnished – the perfect retreat after an eventful day. We especially loved the spa area: wonderfully relaxing and ideal for unwinding. One small suggestion for improvement: the pool could be a touch warmer for our liking. Otherwise, highly recommended – we would love to come back! :)

Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its promises. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired. It seems the team wasn't given enough time. There's a capsule coffee machine, but capsules aren't offered. The minibar is empty. The bar was closed the entire time we stayed. Bottled water isn't provided in the room and can't be purchased. Standard toiletries are also missing. Complementary services are a foreign concept at the Nena in Bremen. The price suggests otherwise. The location on the Schlachte is nice.

Nena Hotel Bremen – great location, but inside it's more style than substance 😬🏨 Traveling to Bremen for work, I spent a night at the Nena Hotel with a colleague – and let me put it this way: The location on the Weser River and close to the old town is really great. You'd think: it can't possibly go wrong. Well… unfortunately, it can. 🙃 The start: a friendly welcome, still hopeful 👋✨ We checked in around 6 pm and received a really friendly welcome at reception. The entrance area made a good first impression, and the greeting was warm and professional. So yes: the start was absolutely fine. Unfortunately, it didn't stay that way. Rooms with design ideas from the category: "So what about everyday life? Who cares." 🚿💡🔌 I had a room facing the inner street, my colleague had one facing the inner courtyard. And the little adventure started right in the bathroom: The shower is, unfortunately, a complete design flaw. You can't really take a normal shower without it feeling like half the bathroom is flooded. The rain shower head is mounted very high on the ceiling, and due to limescale buildup, it sometimes sprays at an angle instead of cleanly downwards. In other words: You want to shower – the bathroom says: "Today we're creating a flood." 😅 The rest of the room also seemed like someone had primarily focused on aesthetics during the planning phase, rather than the fact that real people would be sleeping there: Small table, but no power outlet nearby Light switch only on one side of the bed If you're on the window side, you apparently have to consider in the evening whether getting up is even part of the service. Honestly: How does anyone come up with something like that? The mattress wasn't exactly restful either – either too soft or simply quite worn out. A good night's sleep before the next workday was out of the question. Courtyard with a very unpleasant morning greeting 🕊️😶 My colleague had a room overlooking the courtyard. There was apparently netting stretched across it, presumably to protect the area. The problem: In the morning, two dead pigeons lay there in broad daylight, clearly not removed. And that's simply not something you can just ignore. It wasn't just unsightly, but truly distressing and a rather unpleasant sight. Breakfast: Booking promises wow, reality delivers more like oh, okay 🍞🥤 The pictures on Booking.com made it look like a really nice breakfast. The kind of buffet where you think: Okay, at least the day starts off well. Unfortunately, reality was much sadder. Instead of nice rolls and an appealing selection, there was basically just a basket or bowl with simple, pre-baked rolls. The orange juice dispenser was almost empty and wasn't refilled during our stay. The whole thing didn't feel like "small but perfectly formed," but rather like: "We're offering breakfast because we have to." And that's quite disappointing—especially when the initial presentation promises so much more. And then you read something like this on the side… 🤔 In another Google review, I read that the hotel is supposedly in insolvency proceedings. I can't say whether that's true. But let me put it this way: If there's any truth to it, it would unfortunately explain a few things. Conclusion: beautiful location, but too many construction sites ❌ The hotel's location is definitely a plus. The reception was also friendly and initially gave me hope. But in the end, this is what really sticks in your mind: Impractical room layout Bathroom with flooding potential Poor sleep quality Very disappointing breakfast And a courtyard view that nobody wants in the morning. So, the hotel is okay, but it doesn't live up to its promises. My room looked completely different in the pictures than on booking.com and was very sparsely furnished. The beds were very hard and not at all comfortable! The gym is okay. You can only do lat pulldowns and rows, and triceps exercises, and there are dumbbells up to 10 kg. One of the cable machines is broken! Personally, I also didn't find the hotel's layout and design very good—very confusing and dark, not very cozy! The sauna and pool, on the other hand, are good. So, for me, it's far from a 4-star hotel and doesn't live up to its promises.
