Exceptional, very appealing, and highly recommended! We felt very comfortable.
I travel to Dresden several times a year for work. My first choice for accommodation is and always will be the Gewandhaus. Everything about it is just perfect.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel. Very centrally located.
The hotel is very well located, close to all the main points of interest: restaurants, museums, etc. However, free upgrades for members seem rather difficult to obtain. We had prepaid for an upgrade and ended up getting a very nice room. A very warm welcome, excellent service, and a good breakfast. The room we had was large and spacious, practically a junior suite, and overall very pleasant. Unfortunately, the air conditioning stopped working on our second night. We were told that a technician would come the next day, which forced us to sleep with the window open. We wonder if the hotel shuts off the system when the outside temperature drops below a certain threshold. The first shower was fine, but the second only provided cold water, with no pressure. A hotel with real potential, but which doesn't fully realize it.
An exclusive gem, right here in the heart of the historic old town. The ambiance and interior, the covered courtyard, the cake shop, and the friendly staff create a truly delightful experience. The hotel's architecture also complements the surroundings of the Kreuzkirche (Church of the Holy Cross), the town hall, and its proximity to the Royal Palace, Zwinger Palace, and Semperoper (Semper Opera House). It offers a welcome contrast to the many bland, modern hotels in the surrounding area. 🤔😉😄👍

We had a pleasant stay. The staff at reception and during breakfast were consistently very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was ample and offered everything you need for a good start to the day. The prompt and courteous email communication before our stay was particularly commendable. Parking is a bit difficult, but understandable given the very central location. The pool is better suited for relaxing and cooling off than for longer swims. Overall, a lovely stay with friendly service – we would gladly return.
