The hotel is in a fantastic, central location on Augustusplatz. All the city center's sights are easily accessible on foot from here. Many tram lines to the outer districts (e.g., the Monument to the Battle of the Nations) also depart from here. We booked the junior suite, which was correspondingly spacious. However, it's noticeable that the hotel is showing its age a bit. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, and there's plenty of staff who cleared tables and reset them very quickly. Even on Sunday morning when the breakfast room was packed, everything ran smoothly, and all the food was replenished very quickly. I have to deduct points for the room service: I had ordered two extra pillows in advance via email, but they weren't in the room. We did receive them after inquiring. However, almost all the toiletries were empty, and the hotel only offers room service after the third night for environmental reasons. That's definitely not enough for me; after all, I go to a hotel so that the trash cans are emptied, the shower is cleaned, and my bed is made. After two days, we requested room service and refilled toiletries. The trash was emptied, the bathroom was cleaned, but the toiletries weren't refilled. And: the extra pillows were removed (??). So, back down to reception. At least they reacted quickly this time: the pillows were brought back and the toiletries were refilled. These may all seem like minor issues, but in our opinion, it's unacceptable for a hotel in this price range.

Centrally located with its own parking. The service staff was incredibly friendly and relaxed. That's exactly what you need these days. The friendly waiter was very attentive and pleased to have me stop by the café. I immediately felt right at home. The cappuccino was delicious 🙃

Everything was perfect. We always enjoy staying at this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and found the central location fantastic. Numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes can be found in the pedestrian zone across the street. The old town is beautiful with many historic buildings. There's a tram stop right in front of the hotel. There's an uncovered parking lot (€24 per day) in front of the hotel, as well as a free charging station for hotel guests. There are also many lakes around Leipzig that are perfect for a day trip.
