We were very disappointed with the restaurant staff. We had made a reservation for two several days in advance. Despite this, we had to wait outside for about 15 minutes before being shown to the smallest table in the restaurant, in the corner by the entrance. They didn't even bother to wipe the table. When I politely asked the waiter for a better table, as this spot was unsuitable for a nice dinner for two, we waited another 15 minutes before being shown to a different table of the same size, only on the other side of the entrance. When a larger table next to it became available and I politely inquired about it, I was told that this table was for several guests, not for two. Meanwhile, there was a single person sitting alone at the table right next to it. The entire service staff's behavior was on par with a village pub from the very beginning. The restaurant boasts the best Italian pizza in town, but the staff lacks the Italian manner in their interactions with guests. Perhaps the staff should try making Italian pizza a few hundred meters away at the "Dolce Vita" restaurant, where the staff is absolutely outstanding. Then, when a larger table became available, I was told that this table was for several guests, not for two. That's a real shame, because the pizza was good and the atmosphere was cozy despite the rather loud noise.
