Premier Inn is always a great choice, and the Cork City Centre location was no different. The room was a decent size, and everything was clean and ready for us when we got in. The highlight of this hotel is its location. Right in the centre of Cork, it is a short walk to the main bus terminal as well as many shops, attractions, and restaurants.

In short: Despite the price, this is probably the best value for your money in Cork if you'd like to stay in a hotel. Cleaning not very good, but the beds are fantastic! The good: Despite my negative comments below, the beds were shockingly good! Two people with sensitive backs slept three nights in them with no issues - probably the best hotel bed I ever slept in! I slept on the sleeping couch, and I am genuinely impressed. Location is practical, but the surroundings are kind of grim. The bad: We had to change rooms due to the absolute state of the first we got. Bathroom reeked of urine, and there were marks and smeared gunk all over the room. The air was stuffy, and the "fresh air" from the air con smelled like it came directly from the kitchen. Staff were apologetic and fixed us a new room that was noticably better, apart from an unidentified splash of dark liquid on the wall. How it could have been missed by the cleaners is beyond me. Dusty base boards. Did not feel inviting, but after wiping the place down with disinfectant wipes we felt better. Air con actually worked and gave us a livable temperature. Upon contacting reception the stain was taken care of the following day. The staff - while very friendly and helpful - were often preoccupied elsewhere, often requiring a wait at reception/bar. Not to big of a deal, though.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Central location. The hotel has no parking their recommended Q-Park car park in Cork City Centre charged me 45-EUR for 20-hrs parking!

Premier Inn is the best value choice in Cork. While other hotels in the city center easily exceed €200, here you'll find much lower rates without sacrificing cleanliness, modernity, and the super-comfortable Hypnos beds. Focus Parking (Q-Park City Hall): The hotel doesn't have an on-site garage, but it has a special agreement with Q-Park City Hall (a 5-minute walk). Benefit: You pay only €12 for 24 hours instead of the full rate of over €40. What to do: Collect your ticket at the parking entrance and have it validated at the hotel reception before returning to your car to activate the discount.

It’s always the best hotel that we opt for when travelling. Everything is great 🥳

Service staffs were friendly and helpful. Their small talks when possible ease us in the stay.

They are very understaffed. However breakfast was superb and sleeping was cosy and peaceful

Loved the stay at the hotel. Very well located in the heart of the city. Rooms are cosy and well serviced. Reception staff were also helpful. You can ask them to store your luggage beyond your check in-out hours which is quite helpful-in contrast to the paid luggage storage facilities. Walkable distance from train station and very close to shops and restaurants.
