My favorite place for Milanese residence #1

TLDR: Not safe to stay at this hotel. Manager allowed staff to enter our room and go through our belongings without consent when we were not there. Me and friend decided to stay here celebrate her birthday. We were unable to use any of our electrical devices or charge our phones in our room so we raised our complaint 2x. Each time they sent a maintenance man to check the room and they gave us multiple adapters. This did not solve the problem as the adapters would stop working after 10 minutes. But we were able to use the adapter we brought from home to charge our phones in coffee shops but for some reason it didn’t work in the hotel room. We asked to change room, the hotel staff said no because there’s no point. We asked for a partial refund as this is impacting our stay and the staff said we need to speak to the manager, but the manager was not in and we have to wait until the next day. We explained that we have train tickets to visit lake como so will be out the whole day. We agreed to leave our phone number at reception for the manager to call us to discuss a refund. The next day while we were out, the manager sent us a WhatsApp saying they entered our room and went through our belongings and then sent us a photo of items inside our room with our knowledge or consent. Horrified, we asked for an explanation and the manager refused to apologise or acknowledge they did anything wrong or confirm that they will not allow any more staff from entering our room. At checkout we spoke to the manager to voice our concerns about our safety and privacy because of this incident but the manager raised his voice at us for making it sound they did something inappropriate. He rolled his eyes when tried to explain that the items he said he touched were expensive and he refused to apologise. When we again asked for him to clearly explain what staff did in our room and how long were they in there. He kept changing his narrative and spoke about the incident vaguely, refusing to give any detail. We again asked for a refund but he smirked and said we needed to ask for a refund through Hotels.com as we booked through them. Spoke to Hotels.com who contacted the hotel and they told me the manager declined to give me a refund so they can’t process it. I told Hotels.com that my complaint is about the manager but they said they can’t do anything on their side so suggested for me to contact the hotel directly. I emailed the hotel and received a rude and a passive aggressive response from the manager. So overall, we spent over £700 to stay in a room where we couldn’t dry our hair or charge my phone, had our safety and privacy compromised and was then insulted by staff. I have included all the messages and emails I’ve received from the hotel so you can make your own mind up if you want to stay here.

Loved our choice to stay here during our trip to Milan. Beds were large and the air conditioning was blissfully cold. We were here during a heat wave and could not have been more grateful for the air! Staff was top notch and very responsive. I called and asked for an iron and they sent someone up within minutes. The breakfast was also the best we had in our entire trip to Italy. Huge selection! We had Apertivo twice at the Liquido bar and loved their large selection of small bites to order. The location is in the northern part of the city, so you need to take the metro or a taxi to get around, but there is a metro stop just a five minute walk from the hotel.

Easy to find from the central station. Good if you have a lot of luggage. The staff are friendly. A clean business hotel. Earplugs are essential as the soundproofing is poor against train vibrations. However, I don't understand the reviews saying the breakfast is delicious. While it is true that there is a wide variety of food relative to the size of the hotel, nothing is worth eating. The vegetable salad wasn't fresh, the fruit was tasteless, and the cakes were so dry that they were inedible. The yogurt was decent, though. Just stay for a simple stay without expecting much from the breakfast.

Very close to Milan Central train station. Good facilities and service. Friendly and helpful staff, will definitely stay again when we come back Milano. Mille Grazie :)

Prime location next to the central station so it is super easy to go for day tours around Milan. Really nice hotel. Welcoming staff and delicious breakfast. Also it has a little spa which is great after a long day of wondering around or shopping. Would love to return some day.

I stayed here during my first visit to Milan, and it was exceptional. The location is perfect; it is walkable to the city centre and right on the doorstep of Milano Centrale station, which made our day trips to Lake Como and the Monza Race Circuit incredibly easy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and featured brilliant air conditioning that kept us perfectly cool during the hot weather. A lovely bonus was the complimentary minibar, which was restocked daily with a variety of soft drinks. The rooftop bar is very stylish, and we really appreciated the free welcome drink after a long day of travelling. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious—the Nutella-filled croissants were a particular highlight! Every single staff member we encountered—including reception, breakfast, housekeeping, and bar staff—was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. They are credit to the hotel. Overall, we were absolutely delighted with our stay. I would definitely return if I am lucky enough to visit Milan again in the future

The front desk staff were wonderful, and they answered all my questions courteously. The welcome drink service at the 6th-floor bar upon arrival was delightful, offering a view of Milan Central Station. The room was compact but clean, and the water and soft drinks in the minibar were replenished daily free of charge. The breakfast selection was second to none, making each morning something to look forward to. I was also pleased to be able to make my own drinks using the juicer, choosing my favorite fruits and vegetables. The gym on the 6th floor was small, but the jacuzzi and sauna, available by reservation, were fantastic. The availability of laundry facilities (wash and dry, €4 each), which are rare in European hotels, was extremely convenient. Thank you!! This hotel is very user-friendly for Japanese travelers, so I highly recommend it!

Great location, fair value. The spa and welcome drinks was a real pleasant surprise.
