Vērmanes dārzs (Vērmane Garden), the historic central park just off the Centrs boulevards, is both the symbolic home of Riga's LGBTQ+ community — the site of early Pride gatherings — and a long-documented daytime cruising spot. As a busy public park it is best treated with discretion; activity is informal and tolerated rather than official.
