The beer festival was organized in the right place.

It's a nice park for strolling, with a couple of fountains illuminated at night. Sometimes the square hosts festivals, sporting events, and fairs.

Lovely gardens and lake, the perfect place to wander have a drink and watch the world go by.

A beautiful place for a walk on a sunny day & an iced coffee in hand!

Guys, we took a great walk in this wonderful little park in the heart of Riga in mid-March 2025. Here you will find beautiful landscape design, cozy benches and cute cafes. We recommend it! Although, of course, it's up to you...

This is such a beautiful park. You can take some canal rides from the park as well which I can really recommend. Close to the city centre

During our Baltic trip in Riga we visited this garden. It nice place which one of the first gardens was opened to all people, not only for aristocratic society. Very calming and relaxing place in centre of the city.

Latvian is a language that changes many common names - so this park is named after the consul general of Prussia, Johann Wöhrmann - it is a long way to become Vermanes. The Prussian consul was governor of the city and had the idea for the park in 1817 - it is the oldest in the city and is 5 hectares. So we also find here more ancient monuments than for example in the park of Bastions. A very happy walk also - the center of the city is indeed very green.

Lovely garden and park within easy walking distance of Old City Riga (and shops, restaurants, and other sights/sites). Nice for strolling, taking your dog for a walk, having your kid(s) run around, etc.

After visiting the Old Town, I visited this beautiful Garden with flowering trees and plants. There are benches around here to sit down and relax. Along its sides is a a small river where one can ride tne river boats. Located near by are the Opera House, Freedom Monument, small bridge with lots of locks, statues, fountains, etc. I enjoyed my visit here on Day 1 of my tour of Riga.

The lengthy green park area that includes Vermanes Garden is a treasure in Riga. The flowers, bridges, cafes and interesting buildings line the garden and make it an oasis in the city.

City center and park like that is perfect to have lunch or so, summer days is so beautiful there. romantic place.
