Werk Room

Werk Room is an LGBTI+ community space on Rua do Compromisso in Faro's old centre. Its own site lists a full calendar: film nights, game afternoons, a book club, workshops, karaoke and parties, plus peer support groups and information on sexual health and STI screening. It also houses the Guilherme Gonçalves Gallery, which shows local queer artists and is named after a Faro artist who died in 2022. Werk Room was one of the organisers of the 2026 Algarve Pride march (MOA) in Faro. Most events need registration through werkroom.pt, which is also the place to check opening times.
