Queer and Friends Algarve

Queer and Friends Algarve is an informal LGBTQ+ community group serving Lagos and the wider western Algarve. Rather than a formal registered association, it runs regular social meet-ups - including a monthly LGBTQ+ safe-space evening in Lagos and outdoor get-togethers - giving residents and visiting travellers an easy, low-key way to connect. It is the most active local queer community network in the Lagos area. Portugal's formal LGBTQ+ associations and the regional Arraial/Marcha Pride are based in Faro (Associacao MOCES) and Lisbon.
