This was the worst experience of the many hotels I have visited in Europe. This hotel is filthy and disgusting both inside and out. It is a good thing I couldn't get another hotel, otherwise we would have left immediately. Dilapidated reception area, the hallway to the room was dirty with stains all over the carpet; the room still smelled of the previous guests. The laminate in the room was 10 years past its expiration date, was badly damaged, and was lifting up. Curtains were half off the rails, and in some rooms, the curtains were torn. Mold in the bathroom between the tiles. The bed was like a sunken bed. We had breakfast included, and the small dining room was completely full in the morning, and there was almost nothing left to get. It sounds like I am exaggerating, but this is the absolute truth. It is a disgrace that this is called a hotel.

We stayed here during the Stockholm Marathon because it was one of the few reasonably priced accommodations we could find. The hotel is located outside of Stockholm in an industrial park. There's a highway exit and a bus stop nearby. From the outside, it's not exactly a sight for sore eyes. We arrived late in the evening and found the 24-hour reception desk unattended. We were able to contact them using the telephone provided. Unfortunately, the call was abruptly cut off. However, the receptionist did call us back on our registered mobile number. We were allowed to encode the room key ourselves. The information we received about the room's location in the building was incorrect, as we discovered after wandering around for a while. The room itself wasn't worth the long search. At least the door opened without any problems. Inside, however, we found little comfort: 3 beds, 1 chair, 1 small table, 1 bedside table, 1 wall-mounted clothes rack with 1 (!) clothes hanger, and 1 television. The bedding was clean. But the mattresses weren't. Between a thin mattress topper and the mattress, there was red dirt on one of the beds. For three people, there were only two medium-sized towels, one of which had a hole in it. The window curtains also had holes. One window handle was almost completely broken off. Everything in the room looked worn. The front door was heavy and flimsy. The bathroom door was damaged and had a broken lock. At least the shower curtain was new. There was no soundproofing; we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms and the breakfast room next door. This breakfast room was very small for the number of rooms. Breakfast was served from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m., and from 7:00 a.m. on weekends. The breakfast itself was okay, but not very substantial. There were two types of soggy rolls, toast, rye bread, and crispbread. There were two types of cold cuts, a little cheese, jam, two different salads, cucumber, tomato, kiwi, and hard-boiled eggs. To drink, there was coffee and hot water for tea or hot chocolate, and a juice dispenser. The reception staff were generally helpful but rather indifferent. The service staff remained silent. For very modest needs and short stays, the hotel is okay; it's generally quite clean, but the rooms are worn. The hotel has a large parking lot, which we didn't use since we didn't arrive by car. The taxi transfer from Arlanda Airport to the hotel took about 45 minutes.

Quite shabby both outside and inside; not exactly dirty but not well maintained either. Feels like a refugee barracks. Breakfast promised bacon but we didn't see anything like that and the coffee has the feel of a ration card. Intimate feeling when the neighbor's alarm clock goes off at 4:00 and I'm the only one who seems to hear it. Nice staff though.
