The room was clean and very nice. Unfortunately, there is little to no storage space, which is insufficient even for one person. There's no wardrobe or chair to sit on. Furthermore, smoking is allowed on the balcony?! The rooms are too warm at around 26 degrees Celsius, and the only way to get rid of the heat is by airing them out??? As a result, the street noise is overwhelming 🥴☹️☹️ At over 200 CHF per night, the price is not justified… Gacko69

The room was small but clean; what we missed were day curtains. The team was friendly and attentive. The location was superb with a lake view, and the train and ski lift were easily accessible on foot.

Great location and a super modern hotel. The restaurant is amazing – great selection and international cuisine. The staff are extremely friendly. I had a wonderful time at the Aves during the winter break. I'd love to come back next year.

Good location, but that's about it. The restaurant offers unique cuisine, a mix of Indian and Western dishes. The rooms are incredibly small and offer absolutely nothing—no coffee, no water, not even glasses. There are two chipped ceramic glasses glued together. There's not even a table or chair; the only place to sit is on the bed, unbelievable. The TV is too big and completely out of proportion. There's not even a towel warmer in the room to dry gloves or anything else after a day of skiing. The price/quality ratio is absolutely off. Dog-friendly, well done.

Discriminatory towards cancer patients. Absolutely unacceptable! I will report this incident (Hotel AVES) to the Swiss consumer magazines Beobachter and Kassensturz. Immediately! Zero class! No manners. On top of that, there's hair in the food and cigarette butts in the bed every single day. The reception staff also displays extremely insidious, denunciatory behavior on the phone. They hang up and are completely unwilling to engage in conversation. Definitely not! Even zero stars would be too much for this run-down (supposedly designer) hotel.
