Efes Hamam

The staff and owners are very friendly. The square area is wider and more spacious. Contrary to the negative reviews, I didn't see anything bad. You can find all kinds of people everywhere.

This is a Turkish bath located on Denizciler Street in Ankara. It's become very popular after the Yeni Ay bath closed. However, the sauna is tiny, and I don't think it's very clean. There's a steam room, but it's hardly even a steam room. The bath costs 600 TL, and after two hours, they start shouting for those who entered first to leave. Anything beyond two hours costs extra. The masseurs don't come even if you call them, and they treat people differently depending on who they are. On weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, it's packed, and it's a bathhouse frequented by mature people who get their business done. Turkish bath culture is wonderful, but here, even the stones are cold, and despite having some water, it's a dirty bathhouse. Where is the old Şengül Hamam, where is the Efes Hamam? I think it's great that such a bathhouse exists; people happily pay 600 TL to meet their needs. Best regards...

Do I need to be of legal age to go? Can I enter if I come with a friend who is also of legal age?

A little expensive, they should heat it more. But it's worth a visit.
