KharkivPride

KharkivPride (Ukrainian: ХарківПрайд) is the annual Pride festival and equality march of Kharkiv, organised by the Women's Association Sphere. Kharkiv held its first-ever Pride march on 15 September 2019, when up to 3,000 people gathered in the city centre. It is Ukraine's only front-line Pride: rather than cancel under Russian shelling, organisers have reformatted the event every year since 2022 — a rainbow action across the metro in 2022 and 2023, a short guarded on-foot march and a car motor-rally in 2024, and a PrideFest with a motor-rally march in 2025. The festival is held in September and combines cultural events, discussions and a public act of visibility. Because of the security situation the exact date and route are announced close to the event.
