Hyatt Regency Birmingham

Great location - especially for me as I was going to a conference at the centre next door! Easy to go for a stroll and experience the canals. Particular shout out to the wonderful lady in the lounge who ensured we are all suitably fed and watered! The lounge serves alcoholic beverages in the evening for 2 hours and serves food - well enough for me to not get an evening meal. Breakfast was good - have the omelette from the menu! A great hotel I’ll use again!

Had a wonderful time at Hyatt Regency. The reception was very welcoming, and the staff were extremely friendly and professional, providing excellent hospitality throughout the stay. The food was delicious with a great variety of quality dishes. The hotel maintained top-class hygiene standards, and the calm atmosphere made the experience even more relaxing. Paid parking is available as well, which was convenient. Highly recommended!

Was attending event at ICC - location could not have been better. Rooms are a decent size but high floors give better views

Hyatt Regency Birmingham Extremely frustrating experience for licensed private hire drivers and guests. I received my THIRD parking charge in one year simply for collecting Hyatt customers from the hotel. I travelled from London for a pre-booked airport transfer, stopped briefly to collect the passenger and luggage, and left within about 12 minutes — then received a £100 penalty notice from the hotel’s parking operator. This does not feel like fair parking management. It feels like a trap targeting drivers performing legitimate customer collections. There is little practical space for PHV pick-ups, yet penalties are issued almost immediately through ANPR cameras. Drivers helping hotel guests should not be treated like offenders. The hotel management seriously needs to review its arrangement with the parking company because this is damaging the customer experience and the reputation of the hotel itself. I would strongly warn: PHV drivers, taxi drivers, airport transfer drivers, and even hotel guests to be very careful when stopping here, even briefly. After fighting multiple unfair tickets connected to this hotel, I will avoid future collections here whenever possible.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right opposite the Library of Birmingham and next to the canal, which makes it very convenient. The room was spacious, and the hotel kindly arranged a room on a higher floor with a city view. Breakfast was a typical hotel-style buffet. During my stay, the Birmingham Marathon was taking place, and I was able to watch it from my room.

Large modern hotel with a good location near the city center. Rooms are comfortable and nicely designed, with especially good beds. Breakfast is varied and high quality. Staff is professional and the whole stay runs smoothly.

I spent 3 nights at the hyatt regency hotel Birmingham , the staff are truly amazing always smiling and helpful . I was overwhelmed with the beauty of this hotel . The room itself is clean , spacious with a nice view . I was speechless when I saw the bathroom as it was so clean and well maintained. A big thank you to the lovely housekeeper for doing a wonderful job 😀 I would definitely go back again & would highly recommend this hotel
