While I understand that ibis is a budget hotel, I felt that this particular stay fell short compared to other ibis properties I’ve stayed in before. The room looked decent at first, but on closer inspection it was dusty, and the bathroom was extremely small. The shower area felt more like a portalet with plastic flooring that wobbles and feels unstable, which made it uncomfortable to use. We also ended up buying bottled water because the water from the tap didn’t seem safe to drink. I also noticed that some previous guests mentioned bed bugs in their reviews. In our experience, we didn’t encounter any, so either the issue has been resolved or we were simply lucky with our room (we stayed on the top floor). On a positive note, the location is excellent — right next to a tube station, which made getting around very convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area, so food options were never a problem. And most importantly, every staff member we encountered was wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. A special mention to David from check‑in, who made us feel well taken care of from the moment we arrived and processed our early checkin as part of my Accor perks. Overall, the service and location were great, but the room quality and cleanliness could definitely be improved.

Had breakfast here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent throughout, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. A special mention to the tall Indian guy who assisted us with directions, seating, and food recommendations-he was incredibly helpful and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, the food, service, and hospitality were all outstanding. Highly recommended!

Located at the perfect spot in the city close to many tourist attractions. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Service (by tall Indian guy) was also really good. He was very friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing experience in budget and recommended for anyone looking for hotels in this area.

Excellent location, quiet area. Close to two metro stations and Borough Market. Very good facilities and staff. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. It was very convenient for dinner after a long day of walking. We liked the room. Good size. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning worked well. Good noise reduction system. We certainly recommend it.

Despite having a large number of rooms and being the only outlet, it's an establishment with a regular, fast, and very strong buffet breakfast. It's a good choice if you plan to explore London during the day rather than spending time in your rooms. The rooms are compact but comfortably meet your needs for overnight stay and hygiene. The alcoholic drinks in the lobby bar are delicious and varied. There are enough tables.

I had to stay three nights in this hotel, and this is my second stay as well. It is the best will located in quiet area where I need to be in. It is well located next to the train station and Tesco grocery if needed. It's somehow away from crowds tourist area where do you get the feeling of London. Highly recommended.

The staff were very welcoming, attentive, and friendly. A lovely little touch (balloons, a voucher, and a personalized note) for my birthday was very touching. A special thank you to Kate!

The hotel is very well situated, only a half block from the Jubilee line of the tube. The rooms are nice, with a very good A/C (which was very useful as a heat wave came through while we were staying here). It felt safe and secure (including the surrounding area), and the breakfast was solid.

We came here en of 2025, the hotel room was great and clean. The service was nice, the staff were welcoming and food delicious. The location is close to everything. We will certainly come back
