Fontmills House Bed and Breakfast

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for 2 nights as my sister's wedding was happening close by. We loved every minute of our stay and Jan, the lovely lady who lived there was an absolute gem! Her son even gave us a lift to the wedding when our taxi didn't arrive which we were very grateful for! Beautiful property, lovely surroundings and a great cooked breakfast each morning... would definitely stay here again 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay at Fontmills House B&B. We found a very kind landlady and clean, bright, large and comfortable rooms. Driving throughout the South, well worth to stay in beautiful East Sussex countryside, in this nice B&B, as we did. To start our day out, Jan prepared us a very good English breakfast in a romantic dining room. We are Italians who have enjoyed a lot this lovely British hospitality.

A very quaint B&B with a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome. We had a large double bedroom with attached lounge and en suite shower room. All bedding, towels are provided, a mini fridge with milk and water, and tea, coffee etc is in the attached lounge. There is a traditional breakfast served alongside strawberries and cereals at a time suited to your needs. Fresh eggs from the farm next door as well. We used the B&B as a location for accessing the Cuckoo Trail which can accessed through the bottom of the campsite next door. This is great for cyclists, walkers, dog walking and runners etc. Hailsham to the south is a 15 mins drive. A lovely village with plenty of restaurants and takeaways. There is a golf course just up the road from the B&B and 15 mins to the north is Horam with fishing lakes.

Been there three times now and will be going in near future lovely place to stay made very welcome rooms and food great.
