Parada do Orgulho LGBTQIAPN+ de Belo Horizonte

Belo Horizonte's Pride parade — the Parada do Orgulho LGBTQIAPN+ de Belo Horizonte — is one of the largest in Brazil and the biggest in Minas Gerais, drawing around 360,000 people in 2025. Organised by the state rights group CELLOS-MG, it takes over Avenida Afonso Pena in the downtown Centro district, gathering near the junction with Avenida Brasil and marching toward Praca Sete and Praca da Estacao. A cultural day at the Parque Municipal precedes the Sunday march. In January 2026 the city council made the celebration official, fixing it on the third Sunday of July each year as a municipal day, so the date is now legally anchored to mid-July.
