Everything about this hotel was wonderful. It deserves to be more famous. Highlights: The surrounding environment, interior design, and breakfast were all excellent. The welcome drink and Pisco Sour were a nice touch. While the city center was quite noisy due to a festival, this hotel, a little further away, was peaceful. Thank you, Diano and Manol! The meticulous hospitality of all the staff was also wonderful. It was among the top five-star hotels.

A gem in Cusco. Unforgettable hospitality! I traveled for about 40 hours from Japan, including layovers, to get to Cusco, but it was worth it just to stay at this hotel! It was such a wonderful experience that I want to return to Cusco just to stay here again. What touched me most was the hospitality of the staff. Mr. Diano at reception, the person who brought me the delicious breakfast, and Mr. Manol at the bar; everyone was incredibly kind. Even when I wasn't feeling well, they took great care of me with so much attention and affection, which I am truly grateful for. The facilities are also fantastic: • The room: Spotlessly clean with a view of the immaculate garden that made me wake up full of energy every morning. • The food: The breakfast was delicious and gave me the strength to start the day. I would have loved to learn everyone's name to thank them in person, but since we didn't manage to meet up, I'm writing it here. Thank you so much to the entire team for a perfect stay! I'll definitely be back!

A lovely hotel, full of details that contributed to our feeling very comfortable.

I haven't even been here a full night yet.. but the service, accommodations, staff and spa area have all been 5 stars! The staff seem to anticipate your needs and do them with pleasure. It's a small hotel with only 15 rooms. Making the staff to guest ratio really high. All the rooms have a patio or balcony facing the courtyard yard. The courtyard is very tranquil and a good place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. All the seating have light blankets.

Professional staff, quaint rooms, and unforgettable service! I leave Cusco with fond memories. I sincerely thank the staff for their meticulous attention to detail.

We had a truly lovely stay at Casa Cartagena Boutique Hotel. The service was exceptional and made us feel very well cared for. The hotel is peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained. The staff were all incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming, which made our experience even more special. We were very happy to stay here and would gladly come back again.

Overpriced and staff are not careful with baggage and lost items

Beautiful 5-star hotel, very popular and ideally located just a few minutes' walk from the Place d'Armes. The suite was enormous and very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, excellent bedding, absolute peace and quiet, and top-notch service (room service, housekeeping, restaurant, front desk – congratulations!), an excellent breakfast, and a good restaurant on site. The only slight drawback was that closing the shutters was a bit tricky. Highly recommended!

Our most memorable stay in Cusco! We stayed at Casa Cartagena for a total of 4 nights, 2 before our tour to acclimate, and 2 after to unwind. Room #7 was our first room and it was very comfortable. On our return we had room 10, a very spacious suite with the most quiet location. A gem! Each trip started with the welcome tea, a perfect blend to help with altitude and stomach distress, and to both relax and energize! Fernando, who introduced us to the nightly happy hour Pisco Sours, is the gem of Casa C! He is attentive in their in house restaurant as well. We ate the complimentary breakfast each morning and we dined twice in the evening with the most amazing dinner atmosphere. The breakfast was divine, with so many choices of local fares. The pool and steam room were so relaxing and therapeutic. A massage with Olga, in their spa was just what the tired hiking muscles needed. She was very professional, and attentive to my tired body’s needs. Location is perfect to lead you to all the main attractions in Cusco, and airport transportation was complimentary with knowledgeable drivers getting us to and from the airport through busy city traffic. Farid, at the front desk took care of each request and need we had during our stay. A genuine asset to Casa C. Our spa attendant was attentive as well, bringing tea, setting up towels, and completing our experience seeking relaxation. A boutique hotel gem, choose Casa Cartagena!
