عن هذا المكان Zus & Zo

Zus & Zo is a mainstream guesthouse with a café-restaurant on Grote Combeweg in central Paramaribo. It is listed as gay-friendly, not an LGBTQ+ venue. Rooms are simple, and the café downstairs is popular with travellers and locals for food and drinks. The location puts you within walking distance of the UNESCO-listed wooden inner city, Independence Square and the waterfront. Suriname has no visible gay bar scene, and same-sex relationships are not legally recognised, though attitudes in Paramaribo are relatively relaxed. Discretion is still sensible in public.

I went to the restaurant located below the hotel. The Surinamese food was good and tasty (in Suriname practically everything is spicy). I ordered a fish fillet with rice and salad, and it came with a spicy sauce. I asked to change it, and the staff promptly replaced it with ketchup and mayonnaise. I liked the place, but I went on a rainy day ☔️ and some parts of the restaurant were flooded, but the food and the house tea were great.
