 Music Editing
This workshop equips performers with the technical skills to craft polished, performance-ready audio edits. Led by Daisy DeVille, this online session focuses on mixing, cutting, and blending tracks with intention, while touching on the storytelling behind a strong edit. We’ll cover software workflow, seamless transitions, and building an edit that serves your number.
For this workshop, you will need the following:

This workshop lays the foundation for any performer looking to understand the roots of the art they carry forward. We trace the through line from underground queer resistance to today’s stages, weaving Calgary’s local drag history into the broader movements that shaped queer culture, honouring the pioneers, ballrooms, and bars that built the scene before it was safe to do so.
