This class introduces students with no prior experience to the essential techniques, frictions, and safety concepts needed to begin enjoying rope. After just one session, you will have enough foundational knowledge to tie simple patterns and start exploring shibari on your own.
You will learn:
— Single column (boola boola)
— The basic structure of a futomomo (onto which the knots and frictions are applied)
— Safe placement, tensioning, and adjustments
— Safety fundamentals: physical risks, communication, consent, and negotiation
— Tools commonly used in rope bondage
Whether you attend alone or with a partner, this fun, engaging, and technical class will give you the essential foundations to practice safely.

— Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
— Be attentive, respectful, and follow safety guidelines.

Attendance & Punctuality Policy
— This is a technical training class with a large amount of material to cover.
— No late entry is allowed.
— Please arrive at least 15 minutes early (30 minutes if you tend to run late).
— Late arrivals will not be admitted, with no exceptions.
