Sunshine House

Sunshine House is a Winnipeg community drop-in and resource centre focused on harm reduction and social inclusion, operating since the 1980s out of its Logan Avenue location. It grew from the city's HIV/AIDS response and remains a welcoming space for marginalised communities. Among its programs is "Like That," a regular gender- and sexual-identity drop-in for 2SLGBTQIA+ people, running evenings during the week. Sunshine House also runs mobile outreach and creative and cultural programming, making it an important part of Winnipeg's queer and harm-reduction support network rather than a nightlife venue.
