The location and the people make this a great option for budget travel. Rooms are very clean. It’s safe and convenient. I had a private room for almost a month there. The mosquitos were the only bad part but it’s rainy season. You also hear a lot of noise from other guests coming through the courtyard. I managed to still sleep through it. I recommend this place for sure.

The location near downtown Guadalajara is the only redeeming feature at the moment, as the rooms are neglected, lack basic amenities, and complaints are ignored. The staff's service is very stressful because they are uncooperative in resolving problems and require authorization from the owners for everything. So, be prepared to be patient, or definitely do not recommend this place.

Terrible service. They can't even provide the basics for a comfortable room. But of course, they charge as if it were a 5-star hotel. The staff is incredibly apathetic, and the customer is never right, even when they are. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Good service; like any centrally located hotel, not everything is perfect, but the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly, and the fruit and coffee breakfast was a great way to start the day.

For all my English speakers tourists. DO NOT....I repeat DO NOT reserve at Vilasanta Hotel. It's a rip off. I experienced the most horrible service. Staff make fun of and talk crap about their own customers. Rooms are not ready for use, no AC, no towels, no toilet paper (basic necessities for a room), humidity on ceilings, walls, etc. Water leaked onto beds and floors. My family and I couldn't stay there for another second. However, when I requested my refund the owner denied it to me, until I said I will sue them for fraud.

I stayed at this hotel and found it very nice and well located. The staff was friendly to us.

An excellent place to spend some quiet time on vacation in the pearl of Guadalajara, with easy access to iconic places in the city.

Excellent service, the staff were all very attentive, the breakfast they offer was top-notch with the fruit and coffee, I hope to return soon, I highly recommend it.

I made my reservation about four months in advance and it wasn't ready. There were no clean towels, no toilet paper, the room door didn't work, there was dampness in all the rooms, the air conditioning didn't work, and to top it all off, there were two water leaks in the room. My mom got up to go to the bathroom and her feet got wet. My sister woke up wet from the leak in the ceiling. The cleaning staff made disrespectful comments, and the owner of Vilasanta was incredibly rude when we asked for a refund, even though we had paid in advance. I would never go back. Beware, everyone…not recommended at all.

The location is good, but the service is terrible. We were practically begging for towels and cleaning. It's strange; I've never stayed in a place like this before. I wouldn't return.
