Hotel Casa Magnolia Inn Panama

We stayed in the shared room and it was very nice, very clean for a room with so many people. The location is a 10/10.

The shared bathrooms and toilets were very dirty… the hostel rooms were also not nicely furnished and lacked curtains. The people at the reception desk weren't really very friendly either.

Only book room 9 if you enjoy very loud music at night. It's impossible to sleep until around 2:30 am. No breakfast. The spring mattress is harsh! We changed rooms for the second night.

It got me out of a bind so I could sleep for 3 hours when no hotel wanted to take me.

The hotel is not safe. There are handrails missing along steep stairs. Also, water was turned off for several hours and no one was able to provide information about the problem. No compensation was offered. No parking nearby.

BEAUTIFUL!

We stayed here after the San Blas Islands. First, we were assigned a room where there was mold on the wall and in the ventilation duct, and it smelled strongly of a basement. Unacceptable; this is very unhealthy to stay in. Then it turned out there was no running water, meaning we couldn't shower or flush the toilet. This lasted for several hours and seemed to be confined to the hotel (coffee shops around the corner had water). The laminate flooring and the sink were broken. It was not properly clean. Around the corner from the hotel is an alcove with a large amplifier where a shady-looking man is blasting music at full volume. The first employee we spoke to about these problems showed little empathy and refused to help us. It is a beautiful hotel in the photos, but in reality, it is very run-down, has very small rooms, and suffers from serious dampness issues, resulting in mold everywhere. It is a shame that no investment is being made in the hotel, because from the outside, it is beautiful to look at. It has a lot of potential.
