I would like to take time to say hands down MY FAVORITE HOTEL IN PANAMA. This was a quick weekend getaway with my daughter and I can say one word MARVELOUS. From the moment you walked in the aroma said it all , this is where you need to be. From check in to check out was top notch. Lets start with check in, it was flawless and without any issues. The front desk staff was very attentive to all my needs and concerns .Never once did I feel that they were not ready to make sure me or my daughter felt at home. Now lets move over to dining. I went to breakfast each morning and Ricardo the manager made sure we greeted each other each morning and had my table overlooking the city ready for me each morning. Carlos was my attendent( i do not like using server) each morning along with his coworkers who helped him bring items to the table. Another honorable mention goes out to Ricardo for personally preparing my cortado and other specialty coffees each morning. What impresses me the most is how they really pay attention to detail and remember what you order. The last day they actually had our table set up with a handwritten message on the glass saying enjoy your breakfast Mr Mike and Ms Johnson(my daughter) along with a plate of fruit that we always made each day. Carlos then proceeded to tell us without asking our order of omelettes and what we put in it. If i can rate that 1-10 it would be 12. Last but not least the bartenders at the pool bar were the icing on the cake. Miguel made some of the best old fashions and Im sorry i didnt get the other bartenders name but he was working Saturday May 16th and made the best caprihina I have ever tasted. That was my daughters go to drink each day he worked. Please let him know I gave him a shout out. Thank you W Panama, I will be seeing you again soon .

We had a suite which was a great size with amazing views of the city and sea. It had a great vanity/ changing area. Everyone that worked at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Negatives were… the air conditioning in our room was loud, the windows through out the building were so dirty, the hallways smelled like cheap cleaning products, the elevators were hot, and the location isn’t the best.

Every space feels thoughtfully curated—whether you’re relaxing in your room or enjoying the lively atmosphere throughout the hotel, there’s a seamless sense of comfort and sophistication. What truly elevated my stay, however, was the exceptional level of hospitality. Over the course of three weeks, the entire staff consistently delivered service that felt genuine, attentive, and effortlessly refined. A very special highlight of my experience was MORO Restaurant. Beyond its vibrant setting and quality cuisine, it was the people who made it truly unforgettable. The MORO team embodies hospitality at its finest—professional, warm, and incredibly detail-oriented. I would especially like to recognize Ricardo, Lucia, and Geovanni, who went above and beyond every single time. Their attentiveness, kindness, and ability to anticipate even the smallest needs made each visit feel personalized and memorable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxury stay with personality, outstanding service, and truly unforgettable dining experiences.

Great location, service, room and amenities. The best hotel gym I have ever experienced and I have been in a good amount of hotels in various locations. The food and drinks were great also.

W Panama is a great choice for a Panama City stay if you want a modern, lively hotel with a luxury feel. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and well-designed with comfortable beds and great city views. The rooftop pool is one of the highlights — perfect for relaxing during the afternoon heat or after a day exploring the city. Staff service is friendly and attentive, and the hotel has a fun atmosphere without feeling overly crowded. The location is also convenient for restaurants, nightlife, Casco Viejo, and quick Uber rides around the city.

A well-located and pleasant hotel, but without a doubt, the best thing about it is its staff. Always attentive, very friendly, and providing solutions to any guest request.

The W hotel chain is my absolute favorite. The pool & gym are open 24 hrs, the bar is great, & the food is good. What else do you need on a vacation??
