La Concha Renaissance Resort

La Concha Renaissance San Juan Resort is a large beachfront hotel on Ashford Avenue in Condado, part of Marriott's Renaissance brand. Its mid-century modern lobby, oceanfront pools and shell-shaped restaurant building make it one of the strip's best-known hotels. It is a mainstream resort, listed as gay-friendly. The LGBTQ link is location: Condado is San Juan's main gay-popular area, and the gay beach near the Atlantic Beach Hotel and the area's bars are within walking distance. The hotel has also been involved in local Pride events. Expect resort prices and fees, and book through Marriott for loyalty points.
