Red Roof Inn Ames

There is no elevator, no hot water and no water pressure. Also, the tv didn't work.

Rooms are nice and clean. Next to the freeway and close to food places. Staff are also nice and kind!

Business trip. Great value, clean room, decent breakfast.

I was greeted with a kind young lady, smiling and very helpful. The room was really nice and the place was clean. The price was good, and I would definitely stay here again.

Most important question, "would I stay here again?" Yeah, probably. It's cheap and there's no evidence of illegal activity. The rooms are clean and reasonably well maintained. Breakfast looked fine, but I was out the door too early to really look close. Front desk was pleasant. My mattress was extra firm and the room was cold on arrival because they turned off the HVAC system.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. One minor issue was the bathroom lighting-it was a bit dim around the mirror. Price was great. I’ve booked my stay for my return trip.
