Bath room maintenance( toilet, tub and sink) and plumbing is bad. Not cleaned AC filters(plugged up ac filters. Cleaning is good.

We stayed here during our recent Disney trip although it is very affordable and the room isn’t that bad apart from the fact that you could feel bumps in the carpet. All together it was not the best. We woke up and went to brush our teeth and found a weird black liquid filling up the sink and it stunk so bad we had to leave the room.

My stay at the Clarion Hotel was pleasant in several ways. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which made my trip more enjoyable. The location was also convenient. However, my experience with customer service was not the best. In particular, an employee named Linsey showed little empathy toward Spanish-speaking guests. I didn't receive a warm welcome upon arrival or a friendly farewell upon departure, which left me with a negative impression of the service. It's important to be aware of this aspect, as poor service can overshadow the magic of the experience, especially if it's your first time visiting Anaheim. I believe the hotel has good facilities, but friendlier and more inclusive service for all guests would significantly improve the experience.

Updated We had some issues with a few things when checking in, but there were a couple of employees that were very helpful and we appreciated them. We did have a great experience checking out on the last day with Isaac Cruz.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we dealt with dishonesty, poor communication, unsafe conditions, and unacceptable customer service. Before booking, I called the hotel a month in advance to confirm they could accommodate two parking spaces. I specifically explained that I was willing to pay for the second space, and the employee told me it would simply be the standard parking rate of $31 plus tax. I called a second time two weeks before our trip to confirm again, and was reassured there would not be an issue. When we checked in, we were suddenly told they could NOT accommodate a second parking spot unless we paid $60 per day plus tax. When I explained that I had confirmed this twice over the phone, the supervisor, Ray, asked if I knew who I spoke with. I told him it was a woman with a strong accent, and he immediately claimed that “no one with a strong accent works here.” Minutes later, after checking the notes on my reservation, he suddenly “found” the conversation documented in my file. Completely dishonest and unprofessional. The problems continued with the crib request. I had also called ahead twice to confirm a crib/playpen would be available for my son. Upon arrival, we were told one would be sent to our room. The crib that arrived was BROKEN. The employee said he would immediately bring another one, but no one ever came back. At 7:30 PM, after waiting for hours, we called the front desk again only to be told they were “out of cribs” and that they are “first come, first serve.” That would have been important information to share BEFORE our stay after we specifically called twice to confirm availability. One employee even suggested giving us blankets and a pillow so my baby could sleep on the FLOOR. Completely unacceptable. My husband spoke to Ray again, and he offered us a rollaway bed for an additional $15 per night. After enough complaints, he waived the fee, but that did absolutely nothing to help our baby, who has sensory issues and specifically requires his own crib/playpen to sleep comfortably. To make matters worse, the next morning I personally watched hotel staff roll a crib into another guest’s room. So clearly cribs were available despite what we had been told.I didn’t know I had to call down to request a crib every day . If it was first come first serve there should be some kind of list. A couple nights later, I called the front desk for towels and immediately recognized the same woman’s voice/accent from the original phone conversations. So Ray blatantly lied when he claimed nobody with a strong accent worked there. The room itself was also disgusting. There was a constant sewer smell coming from the bathroom sink, along with loud gurgling noises every time the upstairs guests flushed the toilet or used the shower. Water would actually bubble up into our sink. There were also visible signs of possible microbial growth that appeared to be covered up with wallpaper and caulking instead of properly repaired. The final issue was the most concerning: safety. Around 10 PM on our last night, my husband and daughter were in the lobby when the front desk employee buzzed a homeless individual into the hotel. The person immediately went into the bathroom and began smoking what appeared to be fentanyl or another substance. The employee later warned my husband and daughter not to use the restroom because the individual was actively smoking inside. Had she not noticed him in time, he potentially could have gained access to guest floors. This is completely unacceptable and extremely unsafe, especially for families returning from Disneyland with children. Overall, this hotel was unsanitary, disorganized, dishonest, and unsafe. We could not wait to leave. I would absolutely NOT recommend staying here, especially for families traveling with children.

Extremely disappointed with my stay at the Clarion Hotel in Anaheim. The room had spiders and bugs in the bathroom, which is unacceptable for the price we paid. When we brought it up to staff, they brushed it off and said the bugs were ‘harmless’ instead of actually addressing the issue or offering any real solution. We also weren’t offered any partial refund or compensation despite the condition of the room. On top of that, there were random deposits/charges added every day during the stay that were never clearly explained. The hotel was overpriced for the quality, cleanliness, and customer service we received. Definitely would not stay here again.

Great spot for Disneyland. Walking distance to shuttles. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Bathroom was our dated we got the two queen beds and a pull out couch. They gave extra blankets which most hotels don’t do. Beds are not queen more like full. Everything was comfortable only thing bathroom is small and outdated. The location was great simple walk to Disneyland! I didn’t like the $31 parking per day no breakfast for free. Those things could improve. Especially since parking is limited in the front having to go back and forth to parking structure is ridiculously should be free at that point.

I booked a room without air conditioning through Booking.com, but it was suddenly canceled a month after the booking was confirmed. The reason given was overbooking, but there were vacant rooms on the same date, and they were advertising them at a higher price, which made me feel that this hotel is unreliable. They ignored my emails, so I recommend choosing a different hotel if you want to avoid getting involved in trouble.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights to go to Disney. It is an amazing location to get there with a walgreens on the way which is perfect for last minute purchases. The staff on reception were super lovely and attentive. The pool is well maintained and clean, perfect for cooling off after a day at the parks. The room came with an amazing fridge, AC, hairdryer, coffee maker and TV which all work amazingly. The beds were very comfortable, we had 2 twin beds for 2 guests. My only fault would be the size of the bathroom as it is tricky to close the door whilst inside but was definitely manageable. I would highly recommend staying here!
