What reviewers say

Many visitors praise the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort for its friendly and professional staff, comfortable and clean rooms, and excellent location within walking distance of Disneyland. However, some guests have reported issues with small and dated bathrooms, and a significant concern raised by multiple reviewers is the lack of security in the parking lot, with one incident of vehicle vandalism.

I was there just a night... Very quiet and peaceful... Front desk a bit to them self.. Not a "welcome committee"

My experience at the Clarion Hotel was interesting. While I did enjoy my stay, there were a few things that blatantly stood out as being ridiculous to this senior on his senior trip. This hotel makes you pay for the breakfast that is advertised as free! All Choice Hotels have free breakfasts except this one, and it's legitimately the same breakfast! The shuttle to Disneyland is a huge scam, just walk across the street and use official Disney transportation, don't waste $4 a day, and you also get to go though security faster that way. Also, why does this hotel charge $60 for parking when the Disney parking lot right across the street costs just $40?!

The location was nice for convention. Some of this hotel people didn't seem to be welcoming guests like us with no smile. Coffee maker looked like old type and coffee were soggy (weren't tasty). Water system seems to be old. Some parts of curtain were torned and some pillow smelled "sweaty". Those things were very unfortunate. This area is very competitive for Disneyland's guests, so once those issues would have been solved, this hotel could be shinier.

Clarion Pros / Cons Room 233 Comfy bed, staff friendly, shampoo (dispensed so little at a time thō) conditioner, and lotion dispensers, fridge (but it froze raspberries and yogurt), freezer, no microwave available = lame, old room with popcorn ceiling, nice TV, mirror but getting to the nearby outlet was difficult to access (cabinet sort of in the way) stayed 4 nights but received zero housekeeping within that time. Called for extra towels and TP and they were delivered in a timely manner, a safe with key access, Shuttle to park available but had to pay = lame, should be free. About a mile to walk to Disneyland. Parking available but had to pay = lame, should be free also with reservation. No free hot chocolate. Bathroom lighting too harsh/bright to put on make up, so turn on heat lamp in the toilet room behind you. Hot water for shower wasn’t stable. Husband said it didn’t match the photos advertised or reviews given.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Why are we charged for parking when there is no surrounding gate and/or camera. My nephew’s car was broken into and no camera footage at all! That’s ridiculous! Never ever staying at a Clarion and any hotel associated with them!

DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU PAY OVER 35 BUCKS TO PARK HERE? BUT GUESS WHAT, IT’S PUBLIC PARKING. SO BEFORE YOU PAY ASK. YOU CAN PARK HERE FREELY. STAYED FOR TWO NIGHTS. CAR BROKEN INTO TOOK ALL BELONGINGS. NO SECURITY IN THE PARKING LOT, NO CAMERAS, NOTHING. BUT YOU *PAY* TO PARK THERE. AND YOU SCAN TO GET INTO PARKING LOT. SO EITHER SOMONE WHO IS STAYING AT THE HOTEL BROKE INTO CAR WITH CROWBAR OR IT WAS AN EMPLOYEE. THEY CONVENIENTLY HAVE A COUPLE DOORS FOR WORKERS WHERE THERE ARE NO CAMERAS. YOU DO THE MATH. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL.
