This is a historical renovation that is showing its age and is more focused on leasing spaces in the hotel for events than reserving them for guests. Nothing was open when we needed it - nowhere to get breakfast or coffee or lounge outside of the room besides a cramped lobby. Restaurant wasn’t open on weekdays until later in the evening. Rooftop had an event one night and wasn’t open during the day, restaurant had a private event the night before. Rooms felt dated and the layout was tight. Between 6-7am they brought a lift out to do something on the exterior of the hotel, constant loud beeping. This work should have been done mid day, not in the morning when people are sleeping and relaxing. Thoughtless management and poor value overall. Will never return to this hotel.
Very nice hotel . The location is great for downtown events . Only complaint is the $47 /night for valet parking. The only other parking is parking on the street. So u pretty much have to valet park or risk y car getting hit on side street .
Interesting retro hotel, but a bit dark. Hotel lobby/bar(?) music could be heard resonating through the walls on the 4th floor very slightly. They have complementary ear plugs in the room which worried me but it was actually a nice quiet room even facing the busy street. Mattress was pretty firm, bedding was standard hotel fare. Overall not a bad place to stay
