CR Pride

CR Pride is the volunteer-run nonprofit behind Cedar Rapids' annual PrideFest, organizing the city's LGBTQ+ Pride celebration since 1992. The all-day festival is held at NewBo City Market in the New Bohemia (NewBo) district and features live music, drag, food vendors, local businesses and community organizations; the 2026 edition ran on Saturday, June 27. Beyond the festival, CR Pride hosts events and meetings throughout the year and acts as a social and advocacy hub for the eastern Iowa LGBTQ+ community.
