Cheyenne RV Resort

Great overnight RV stop. Close enough to town if you you stay a few nights that you can do a few excursions.

Resort? This is anything but a resort. Not much here except dusty gravel. About half are full time people living there and some RVs are really bad. I opened the box to attach my water hose and it had dirty rubber gloves laying on top of the water spigot. I made my reservation by phone and they charged me a undisclosed $20.00 reservation fee.

Horrific place! This park is a complete dive and nothing like the pictures or descriptions online. The advertising is extremely misleading. We booked based on the photos, which made the property look like a well-maintained, KOA-style campground. What we found upon arrival was completely different. Despite the obvious discrepancy, they kept our money and refused to issue any reimbursement. It felt like an $85 rip-off. It was very unsafe feeling and did not feel comfortable. Approximately 95% of the occupants appeared to be full-time residents. The dog run was a joke—nothing but rocks, overgrown weeds, and very poorly maintained. There were also broken-down vehicles scattered throughout the property. The first photo shows what is advertised online. The second photo shows what the campground actually looks like. The difference is shocking. I honestly wonder if this property once had a franchise affiliation that was later revoked because it certainly does not resemble the images being used to attract guests. I would not stay here again and would strongly caution others to look beyond the advertised photos before booking.

I’ll start with the good. The manager/owner was very nice and accommodated us as best he could. We came in earlier than check in and he didn’t mind. Our prebooked spot had a “squatter” that wouldn’t leave. Since we are traveling with my parents, he offered us a place to park in the roadway and it would have water and power. We really aren’t picky and said no problem! It was only one night. He said he would refund the spot since we didn’t have a camp spot. We had power immediately. Water came 6 hours later. It was fairly quiet despite being so close to the Hwy. The park was a former KOA. The KOA structure is there but aged significantly. There are A LOT of permanent rvs there and they are quite shabby. There are broken down cars scattered throughout. For the price, it should be a lot better. I am bummed to write a bad review as the guy was really nice. But since we have not been refunded, here I am.

This was overpriced to begin and then added booking fee and admin fee. $80 for this campground is far too high. The gravel sites are dirt with a few stones and weeds. The Colorado number to call is ok with exception there is one person running the facility and office NOT OPEN. When you call for assistance you are treated like a bother. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly wouldn’t utilize this again.

We turned up late but Chase was able to accommodate us with a late pitch. He offered great service and a cheerful face after a long day. The services are good as well

To make a reservation you call a number in Denver and end up in a call center. The person who answered had no knowledge about the campground. When I got my receipt, they had charged me a booking fee. They were flagged as a KOA, but they are not. Although the campground was clean, there were junk campers and trailers that appeared to be living there full time. There was only one trash bin in the park located in the tent area away from everything else. We won’t be back.

Had a really good stay at Cheyenne RV Resort. The park is clean, easy to get around, and overall has a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to settle in for a few days. The managers were especially great, very friendly organized and you can tell they know how to run an RV park efficiently. Check-in was smooth and anytime we had a question they were happy to help.

Chase was fantastic gave us clear and exact instructions for our site we will be staying here again. Thxs chase

Be advised, Rjourney has a $20 booking fee. REALLY?!?! TWENTY DOLLARS

The management here has been awesome to work with. We had a unique situation and they helped us during inclement weather and helping us move into our spot. I can't say enough about how great this crew is.

Never again will we ever stay there.
