I would like to know why with all the complaints AND pictures of the disgusting filthy and dirtiness of inside and outside. Dirty pool and outside trash that you have someone saying....oh sorry we passed this message on yet NOTHING CHANGES!! Like seriously, have some pride, fire the staff and the owners need to sell to someone who would keep it clean. How hard is that??!!?? Truly disgusting and sad people are just too darn lazy. Either close permanently or don't charge people for false advertising!! Post the filthiness on your website. Stop deceiving people!

Standing water in tub while showering. Yuck. Then fell in tub. Yuck had to get out and wash myself because yuck.

Horrible service drove 3 hours just to hear they sold the room we booked and had to upgrade to something we didn't need would not recommend staying.

We just stayed here last night. First there were homeless men n bums hanging across the road. There was a police officer sitting in parking lot. The building looked really runned down on the outside. The lobby didn’t look too bad. Desk clerk seemed friendly. There’s only one small slow elevator. The room. Well first thing we did was want to take a shower after long day of doing mechanic work. Room was reserved for 2 people, only 1 set of towels. Tried calling front desk from room phone, it just rang and rang. No Kleenex in Kleenex box. Sitting on toilet the bathroom door is directly next to your right leg, was very uncomfortable to use. So husband got the shower and bath towel. I washed up at sink and got hand towel to dry, we had to share a wash cloth. Bed was very hard, pillows flat out sucked. Glad I brought mine. Couldn’t find the do not disturb hanger until we were leaving, spotted it laying on shelf in closet. Dumb place for it. Bottom of bathroom door was very dirty. Noisy night due to train outside, light from hallway shined through door jam all night long lighting up room, no darkness, no peacefulness. Brought all this up with the clerk, who was the same girl that checked us in, and she played dumb about not answering the desk phone. She said, you could have came down for more towels. Ya know, that’s not our job knowing 2 guests were staying and told her we had already taken off our greasy clothes, wasn’t putting them back on. Then their desk printer wasn’t working for a printed out receipt, I said, just please email it to us. Horrible stay Horrible night But the cottage inn pizza and garlic breadsticks, amazing.

Most disgusting place we have ever been to. Cost $209 per night and we did net even spend the night there. They refused to refund my money and the General Manager will not contact me back. The pool has black mold growing all the way around it. The hot tub water was yellow and had a milky greasy white film floating on top of the water. Could not use the outdoors river front view area. It was a mess. Looked like a cyclone went through it. Wish I could post pictures. Total false advertising on their website. DON'T DO IT!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! The poor staff, don't know how they take it. 3 other people were at the desk saying they were leaving also. Refused to stay there. GROSS is too nice a word for this place. BEWARE, total false advertisement on their website compared to what you will actually see.

Absolutely do not stay here. This place is disgusting and should be flat out closed down. The rooms are horrific. Stains on the beds,sheet, curtains. The air didnt work, right along with the fridge. Bedding smelled like it had been left wet in a washer for days. The whole place smelled like piss. No restaurant or breakfast. The whole place is rundown. Trash all over the place. Another customer made a complaint about the pool be dirty and he was told they don't clean it because it has to be closed to clean it. And she said this in front of a pool full of people. Beyond shameful to charge people 300$ a night for a run down dump. Their excuse was " it's under knew management". Filed a complaint with the BBB too.

Alert🚨🚨!! Right off the bat this was the worst stay my family has ever had! Before the owner gives me a BS response to this review you should be ashamed you are letting people stay here! The room was nasty the sheets were moist, the bathroom sink leaked, the toilet was plugged and no one came to the room when we asked for help, the shower was barley working, the bathroom was hot and smelled like pee. I am suprised we do not have bed bugs from the filth of this hotel. Lastly the air quality was so bad my allergies flared up so bad I could barely breathe and are still messed up 15 hours later The only thing this hotel had was decent A/C but otherwise .0001/10 would recommend this is a health risk!

Smoke alarm was beeping. The other couples toliet didnt flush.

I NEVER leave a review…,but do not and I repeat do not stay here …the website makes it seem like this luxurious hotel and the amount I paid to stay here hell no…it’s trashy garbage everywhere…the outdoor garbage can was in the middle of parking lot with the lid in a different part of parking lot …the hot tub was dirty and filled with sand …the drains in the sink and tub hardly worked …they did have continental breakfast but you had to eat it there you couldn’t bring anything to your room which I don’t understand….the only positive thing I can say is the room itself was actually clean …but NEVER again

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! First room we got into on the fourth floor had weird stains and black marks all over the bathroom, no bathroom door handle¹, no phone, a super dirty tub, and a non functioning air conditioner. They relocated us to the 7th floor where it was finally cooled down (every other level was hot...7th floor is most $). We looked around and everything seemed normal so we left and returned later at night and had been so tired we just went to bed. Woke up and my hair smelled horrible I cant even describe the smell but it was coming from my pillow (I washed my hair four times and it still smells like it!!), The shower wouldn't push all the water out of the head and it was rusted, the mattress had a huge yellow stain on the underside, and every single towel had a stain or hair on it ( I washed my face with a side that was almost all the way yellow and didnt notice until my partner pointed it out.) On top of everything their fire extinguisher was expired and the hallway leading to the pool had mold on the walls. Still waiting to hear back about a refund or atleast a huge discount... I've stayed in motels nicer than this or even cheaper hotels in detroit!!! I don't leave reviews but honestly this was traumatizing. The only decent part were two seperate people who worked at the front desk tried their best to help and were kind.

Julius in costumer service was the worst worker i have ever met or experience in my time on earth. He should be fired and make a public apology for the way he treats people. Filed a customer complaint … never speak to him, not worth your time or anger. Horrible person. Deserves to be let go and never speak for a company again!!!!! -the Raddison, Grand Rapids Michigan.

I called to cancel our reservation after our childcare unexpectedly fell through the day before a concert we were attending. Unfortunately, I was just outside of the hotel’s 24-hour cancellation policy, calling approximately 22 hours before check-in. While I understand that policies exist for a reason, I was disappointed by the complete lack of flexibility. I asked if the reservation could be moved to a future date instead of canceled, as we planned to visit the area again with our children for a trip to Michigan’s Adventure. That request was also denied. As someone who works in customer service, I know policies are important, but I also know there are opportunities to work with guests when unforeseen circumstances arise. What made this especially frustrating is that there was a sold-out event in the area that weekend, making it highly likely the room could have been rebooked. Rather than trying to find a solution, the hotel simply pointed to the policy and offered no accommodation whatsoever. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel. Customer service is often measured by how a business handles unexpected situations, and I left this interaction feeling that guest satisfaction was not a priority.
