Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Ana. She went out of her way to accommodate us and give us great recommendations. Location is great, close to Newark Penn and you can walk to Tops Diner. Hope we can return!!

Stayed 3 nights alone on business. The area is sketchy to say the least. Did not feel safe walking to and from my car in the evening. Rats the size of large cats come out at dusk in the parking area and walking path behind the hotel. Reviewing my bill after check out I discovered a $250 smoking charge on my card. I do not smoke !! Management, Sofie, was rude and condescending about the charge and basically called me a liar. Do not stay here unless you are prepared for hidden falsified charges.

Rome could’ve been cleaned better. It was items that were disgusting as far as the chairs and wall plus the broken handle in a bathroom where the toilet paper go. I stayed there from Friday checked out today, Tuesday, May 12, 2026

Left my laptop charger and they can’t find it !!!! Worst customer service , girl at the front desk should not be in customer service !!!! Been trying to get in contact for the last week with no response !

Room was nice. Hotel is nice. Location, not so much. It is next to the train track. SO MUCH CONSTANT NOISE! Love the fact that the fridge had a freezer to refreeze ice packs for my cooler. Love that they actually had cotton pillows not just down. But the noise.

The Good: The room itself was great - clean and comfortable (rm 322). Even numbered rooms are on the river side. Lower number rooms are farther away from the train bridge. Breakfast was perfect: waffles, eggs, sausages, toast, oatmeal, etc. Toiletries in the bathroom are nice quality. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Not so Good: The trains and planes are close and very very loud. They charge $22 to park - parking is not secured, only some spaces are covered. Seems like a money-grab, and they should comp Honors Members parking. I paid extra on the Hilton app to upgrade and choose my specific room. I was not given that room, even when I asked at check in for the room number I reserved. We won’t choose this location again but it was overall a fine place to stay for a night.

I’ve stayed here several times and never had a problem. Staff is always nice and welcoming. Breakfast is standard but good, Terri is a gem, so nice and accommodating. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and food options. There is some construction around the area but it’s to be expected. Definitely will return
